I was looking for a rubber mat with ridges like I had seen in some felting books but had no luck until I found this one. It was just what I was looking for. It is sturdy, yet flexible. It definitely protects your table (I have a wooden table) and keeps the water from dripping. It really helps when roll-felting like the the description says. The large size is great for almost any project. I highly recommend it.
